DRESSING ON A BUDGET, YES IT’S POSSIBLE!

I’ll start by admitting that I often get carried away by looking at influencers and bloggers and wishing I could dress, eat and play like them. Unfortunately, we can’t all live that lavish lifestyle. Some of us (um me) are trying to figure out how to look like Gigi Hadid, but shop from Nordstrom.

Regardless of that, over the years I’ve become a smarter shopper. That is applying the quality over quantity rule at all times. I spend most of my money on staple items that I will use for a long time such as jeans, a black blazer, a black dress, a good pair of sandals and heels and possibly one good purse. Everything else I try to buy at stores a little less pricier such as Nordstrom, HM, Zara and maybe some local boutiques.

The point of this post is to let you know that you can still dress and look great even from the not so expensive brands or stores. It’s important to realize that if you’re trying to save up for something grandiose, you don’t need to splurge on clothes to look good. It’s easy to look at other blogs and feel down when you realize their outfit of the day costs between $300-$800, trust me this happens to me all the time. Enjoy my outfit of the day.
