CHRISTMAS DECORATING ON A BUDGET

If you’re someone who is constantly moving apartments or homes, then you understand saving your money for your future stable home. Until then, I’ll show you a few items I purchased this Christmas to decorate my apartment without breaking the bank. Almost everything I purchased was from Target. The wall decor and candles were from Home Goods and my fresh flowers were from Fresh Market. I love decorating but I refuse to be a hoarder and have tons of bins in my house with just decoration. I think you can always dress up your seasonal decoration with fresh flowers and candles and add on a…

BROOKLINEN LIGHTWEIGHT QUILT

Well, I finally myself to order a lightweight quilt for Spring/Summer. Up until last week I was dying of heat with an ultra thick duvet cover. When we moved into our apartment I purchased a simple white duvet cover and covered it with a grey Kenneth Cole sheet I bought from Bed Bath and Beyond. I absolutely loved it since the weather was a bit cooler. However, because I live in Miami, it is hot all year round so this lightweight quilt is perfect for any season. I purchased the Brooklinen Lightweight Quilt and it’s been a month using it already. I absolutely love it! The pattern…

A GIRL AND HER WORKSPACE

One of my favorite places to decorate, when it comes to my apartment, is my work area – my desk in particular. Though having to sit down to do work can be a daunting task, there is something soul pleasing about being able to sit at my desk with all of my surroundings looking posh. However, I would like to thank Pinterest for all the inspiration. I truly enjoy white furniture, I believe it brings out an elegant look to the whole room.
