MOVING TO SAN FRANCISCO

It wasn’t on my list for my new year goals, but we took the risk and I’m so happy we did because I love this city. If you knew me from a young age you probably knew that moving to California was my life long dream.  Fast forward to a couple years, here I am in San Francisco living out my childhood dream. San Francisco has been everything I expected and more. I could ramble on all day about how much I love this city and why, but I’ll just cut to the chase. People are honestly so friendly here. It could just be me…

LIVING IN FRANCE

Two years ago, I took a semester off from school and decided I wanted to study abroad. It was the quickest process I’d ever been through. I decided, called, applied, boarded plane, arrived. Seriously so simple, I didn’t want to lose time thinking about whether or not It was a good idea. And I’m so glad I didn’t. I’ve never looked back. Studying abroad was the best decision I’d made in my time in college. Over the summer I had attended a two-week study abroad to Paris for culinary school. While my time there, I had a host family in which I became incredibly close…

WILLEMSTAD, CURAÇAO

We arrived to the beautiful island of Willemstad, Curaçao and it was the most fun I’ve had on my trip. As we arrived we had to time to walk some of the shopping stores. It was New Year’s Eve so most of the shops closed early around 2:00 pm, therefore, we only got to window shop. We took a short bus ride to Cabana Beach Resort where we got to hang out by the beach, eat a delicious shrimp lunch and shop.  After lunch, we headed over to our ATV’s with the group and began our adventure (booked with Scooby Tours they were awesome). Who would think running over…

ORANJESTAD, ARUBA

It’s safe to say Aruba is by far my favorite island visited. Although we arrived and had to go straight to our jeep safari tour, we still saw most of Aruba. We booked jeep’s from ABC Tours and went off-roading to all of Aruba’s hidden attractions. I would totally recommend booking an excursion with them. On my excursion, we visited the Donkey Sanctuary, Ayo Rock Formation, California Lighthouse, Blackstone Beach, Twin Bridges, World Famous Baby Beach, Boca Grandi, and Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins. Here are some fun facts I learned while on my trip: Aruba is only 19 miles long They speak several languages in…

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

I have been to Dominican Republic countless times, and I have never once gotten tired of visiting this island. I absolutely love this getaway. Previous times I have stayed in Punta Cana but as of recently I have been staying at La Romana. Both of which are incredible. I love the beach, the ambiance, the people, and the food. If you ever want a summer tropical getaway, DR is definitely the place.

I’M BACK LOS ANGELES

Although I already made a trip to LA a while back, this time, I got to stay for a much longer time. Which meant I had more time to explore and check out new coffee shops, new restaurants, and new sightseeing activities. This time, I went in the winter and let me just say it was pretty cold, but absolutely beautiful and worth it. We stayed in Burbank, and I was quite pleased to see how many things were nearby. LA has so much to see. Enjoy!

LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND

I was extremely happy to have taken a trip to Switzerland while my stay in France. It was absolutely breathtaking and one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever visited, mostly for its nature. I loved every minute in this country. I spent most of my time in Lucerne on the mountainside with my friend and her family. She lived a bit far from the center, but it was worth the 30-minute drive every day. Nothing like driving by the fresh smell of pine trees. It felt like a movie. While at the centre we visited Kapellbrucke, which is a wooden bridge across the Reuss River…

VEULES LES ROSES, FRANCE

One of my favorite little towns I got to visit while in France was Veules-les-Roses. It’s located in Northern France, Upper Normandy. This cute town offers a variety of scenic views, with many ponds, and rivers along the way. It is known for the artists who come here and paint. As you walk through this village you can smell the fresh bread being baked, crepes being made, and fresh coffee. Veules-les-Roses feels like a vacation town, people come here to relax, ride their bike and enjoy the beach, of course when it’s not 30 degrees. Also if you’re located in Rouen, it’s only about a…

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

Never thought I’d make it to Belgium, but I’m glad I did. Let me just start by mentioning that unfortunately the days we decided to explore the city of Brussels, it was raining, and being that we were only there for a short time all that we were able to see was from the car. Nonetheless, I have to say that the few areas I was able to visit in Brussels were absolutely beautiful. Let me begin by saying that my hotel was absolutely stunning, if you’re ever in Brussels I recommend the Thon Hotel. I was able to visit the Kings house which was so…
